Meet Ms. Wideman

Hello! I’m Haley Wideman, and I am so excited to be part of another school year! This is my 15th year in education, and I’ve had the opportunity to teach 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade, as well as 5th/6th grade resource. For ten of my fifteen years, I taught 1st grade, which will always hold a special place in my heart.

Over the years, my passion for helping students grow and succeed led me to make the transition into Special Education, where I have found a true love for helping students recognize their strengths, build confidence, and reach their fullest potential. I especially enjoy getting to know each student as an individual and finding the strategies and supports that help them be successful.

I believe every child can learn and grow when they are given the right encouragement, support, and opportunities. My goal is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel valued, celebrated, and confident in their abilities. I am incredibly passionate about advocating for my students and helping them become more independent and successful learners.

A Little About Me

Outside of school, my favorite role is being a mom to my 21-year-old son, Caden, who is my whole heart. He recently graduated from nursing school on August 6, 2026, and I couldn’t be more proud of him!

Caden and I are both homebodies, so when we aren’t busy, you’ll most likely find us at home relaxing and enjoying time together. I truly treasure our time together!

I am looking forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and new adventures! I am grateful for the opportunity to work with students and families and to be a part of each child’s educational journey.

My goal is to make every student feel supported, capable, and valued while helping them discover that they are capable of more than they may realize. I can’t wait to see all that my students accomplish this year!
