About me
About Me – Mr. Jeffrey K. Watson
Hello! My name is Jeffrey K. Watson, and I am proud to be an educator who is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
I am a Nashville, Tennessee native, and family has always been an important part of my life. I am the proud father of three children and the very proud grandfather of eight grandchildren. Being a father and grandfather has given me an even greater appreciation for the important role teachers and schools play in the lives of children and their families.
Education and lifelong learning are very important to me. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bethel University and my Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. I have also pursued graduate studies in Education at Tennessee State University. I am continuing my education at Grand Canyon University, where I am pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership with an Emphasis in Business.
My professional background extends beyond the classroom and includes experience in education, business management, human resources, public service, and leadership. These experiences have helped shape the educator I am today and have taught me the importance of leadership, communication, teamwork, responsibility, and treating others with respect.
Teaching is truly a passion of mine. I believe that every child can learn and succeed when provided with encouragement, high expectations, and a safe and supportive learning environment. In my classroom, I want every student to know that they are valued, respected, and capable of accomplishing great things.
My goal as an educator is to do more than teach academic skills. I want to help my students develop confidence, curiosity, responsibility, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning. I strive to create a classroom where students are excited to come to school, comfortable asking questions, willing to challenge themselves, and proud of their accomplishments.
I am excited to be part of the school community and look forward to working with my students, their families, my colleagues, and school leadership. I consider it a privilege to be an educator, and I look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of my students each and every day.
